| What You Need to Know. |
The date, place
and exact time (within fifteen minutes) of your birth.
It’s on most birth certificates. In Canada you
can order one online at http://canadaonline.about. com/od/birthcertificates>
or ask at the hospital where you were born. In the USA,
the County. Clerk has this information. |
The birthchart, based on
your exact time and place of birth, in it's
entirety, is a formidable symbol system that competes
with physics in complexity. It's quite capable of describing
an individual's uniqueness in a way Freud never dreamed
possible. Carl Jung was in awe of it, is were –
and are – many other names you'd recognize.
The critical issue is this
– How does Astrology apply to you as
an individual?
Answer: Through the birthchart.
Next Question: How
do I know if the Astrologer is interpreting my chart
correctly?
Answer: There are different ways of
going about the interpretation, but they should all
arrive at one point – an accurate description
of your basic life issues. Otherwise, why are we wasting our time?
Evolutionary Astrology,
seeks to penetrate the essence of each symbol to explain
rather than merely describe, i.e. "Gemini people
love to talk and make good teachers," might translate
to, "Because of their innate curiosity and openness,
Gemini people want to experience and learn as much as
they can in life and to share what they know."
Evolutionary Astrology,
also takes into account the questions "Why are
we here? "What is this experience for?" "What
do we stand to lose?" And also asks "Where
have we come from?" and "Where are we headed?
A full chart reading
generates a huge amount of information and takes some
effort
to grasp. If you feel ready for that, plan on spending
one and a half to two hours concentrating. Once you've
had a natal chart reading, because the planets obviously
kept moving in their orbits after you were born, a yearly
update based on the information in the natal chart,
is a good way to help keep perspective on current events.

a Speed Reading of thirty minutes, is an easy starting
point.
